Dear On-Fire, Jesus-loving Friends,

It has been such a long time since I have seen many of you face to face, and I miss that heart-to-heart Jesus we share!  I know He is still real and strong between us, but I do pray that these e-newsletters can bring with them the love of Christ that is so real between us.  There was an expression used in the 60’s that said, “the times they are a’changin.”  And even so now, it is easy to perceive the many changes that are happening all around us.  But for those who belong to Jesus, how wonderful to know that God is working to make the real changes on the inside of us!  Like Jonah about to be spit out of the whale onto the shore, Noah looking at a world outside of the ark, and a caterpillar deep in her cocoon not willing to come out until the changes really come… these are some ways that may describe how I and many of us may feel right now.  There is a rising determination in my heart to not move before the Son comes forth and escape my cocoon too early.  With all my heart I believe that the work God is doing in us to bring forth His Son IS the true work.  Nothing in ministry means anything apart from Christ being the source from whence it all springs.  New and deep places are being freshly carved into our hearts by the gentle hands of our Father... and I know there will be a great difference if we yield.  We can begin to feel the changes even when they are just starting to form, like the first fruits of a new harvest.  Yet we crave more.  The difference and the change is more of JESUS and less of me!   In fact, my heart's anthem is “More of Jesus, less of me.”  Oh Lord, let it be!  For it to be Jesus and not me, not just in doctrine but in the eyes of the Father.  This heart pursuit causes the cross where I was crucified with Christ to be more precious and powerful than ever before in my life.  The Father offered up His Son for this to happen, for Christ to live His Life through us.  And God has blessed me these past years with precious trials to help get my heart and focus on Him alone.  And during these past years you all have walked with me through those trials, bringing tender care and support in ways that demonstrated the very Spirit of Jesus that I long for.  Maybe that release of His love through you all was sweeter to the Lord than all the outreaches combined!  Isn’t it amazing how the Father receives His Son through us in ways we aren’t even aware of because we are too busy thinking of others!  I will be eternally thankful for the amount of out-poured Jesus I have received from you.  It is a testimony of the living God that has left its imprint on my heart forever.
 
This month's article is a heart pursuit prayer for all those in their cocoons awaiting deep and eternal changes within.  It is the transcription of a prayer prayed in a meeting from last week among those pressing into the Lord.
 
At the end of the newsletter there is an update on Kelly's house as well as an Ireland outreach update.

Update on My House

For many months my house has been under reconstruction with the purpose of being restored as a vessel available for the Lord’s use.  I want my house (Fire Ministries' Headquarters in the States) to be HIS.  A place of Him and for Him to be free to share His heart and pour forth His Life.  A place that is available for whenever and whatever the Lord needs.  A place for children, teenagers, young adults, and other ministers to be able to release and share the Life of Jesus to others!  There is still a little way to go, yet because so much labor has been done on the house by the hearts and hands of many, it is now available in many ways for the flow of the Lord.  Again, thanks to the incredible outpouring of Jesus from so many!

Ireland Outreaches Update

On another note, many of you have been praying about the possibility of Fire Ministries hosting some outreaches to Ireland this year.  We are now beginning to take some “baby steps” in regards to these possible trips.  Due to the ever-changing climate in regards to the virus as well as travel regulations, we will be moving cautiously step by step.  Each baby step will involve hearing from Lord while making practical preparations in case we are indeed able to travel.  Please pray for those who are considering traveling with Fire Ministries this year as we begin our initial preparations.  This involves a group that might travel to Ireland for our annual conference as well as a team of young people who might travel in the Summer.  Also, pray for wisdom and sensitivity for the leadership in regards to this challenging situation.  Prayers that we would hear from the Lord fully and in detail.  Thank you so much!

Fire Fridays !

Fire Fridays – Fellowship with the Irish on Zoom - Feel The Warmth of His Heart

Traditionally in Ireland people would gather around a fireplace in a cottage home to tell stories of old and sing songs of mirth.  At Fire Fridays, we will gather around the flame of Jesus' heart and hear the fire speak from many Irish hearts and as we share aglow the Jesus we know.  Each of us being His flame we burn brighter as we gather together and let the Spirit ignite the fire that warms His Heart and reflects in His eyes as He listens to our hearts share. So join us as we gather with our cups of tea during these upcoming Friday meetings on Zoom.  Many Blessings and may the Son Shine upon your face.
