In Hebrew, the book of Leviticus is called Vayikra, which translated means "And He called..." The Lord whispered from His hidden place what His heart longs for...for anyone who might want to hear.
“And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.”
Wings...to cover Him...
The secret of the Lord cannot be found, nor His Life formed within us, by our carnal minds or the strength of the flesh...so what hope is there?! Our hope is the God who doeth wondrously!
Jesus in eternity is called the Lamb that was slain. There is an eternal Spirit behind His wounds, for they came before sin did. This Lamb was and is and is to come as God’s provision for all things, not only sin...
None of us like to fail the people we love. It is easy to relate with someone when things are going well and we feel “good” about ourselves. But this can be a shallow way of relating. The Lord wants us to know His heart so deeply that we can walk through failure, crisis and trial “face to face” with Him, never breaking gaze with His heart of love.
Has “carnal warfare” got you down? Do you sometimes feel like you’re beating your head against the wall of those same old problems and issues? Sometimes in your walk with Jesus does it seem like you keep running into a brick wall? Jericho may have a few lessons that can help us!
Where is our vision coming from? It is of the utmost importance that we consider our source. Are we starting from our beginning, our natural birth and earthly viewpoints, or are we starting at God’s beginning? If we start in the wrong place, our view will be darkened...
The outward journey and our inward lack can bring us all to the point of utter discouragement if we do not see Jesus. As we find the “touchstones of the Lamb” in the wilderness of our own experience, the very things that once overwhelmed us can become places of passage into union with Christ if our hearts will receive Him as our way and our Life.
It is my heart’s prayer that this little booklet would minister to those who desire to more fully embrace their death with Christ.
It speaks of knowing that our old man is crucified with Christ in a way that goes beyond head knowledge and reaches into our heart identity.
Is our true inheritance the things God gives us or the mind and nature of the Heir Himself in us? Have our hearts so fully turned towards the Lord that we count nothing as gain or treasure apart from His very Life filling us? Gifts can be received by the youngest of children, but the Son must be revealed by the Father in His appointed time.
Our dear Father has many young children who are hungry for something instead of Someone. This booklet looks at the Prodigal son's journey into the true inheritance of the Father.
