Dear Friends in Jesus,
After such a long time of sheltering in place... 2022 took off with a bang, and what an adventure it has been! We took two teams to Ireland for the first time in over three years and saw those we love dearly and have missed greatly. Our hearts rejoiced as we saw one another face to face and fellowshipped gloriously in Jesus! Oh, what a refreshing to our hearts this was. Thank you, Lord. Our adult team included our precious brother Robert Mayne who is such a blessing to the Irish and us all. As some of you may recall, Robert became unwell at the end of the Ireland trip this past July and had to stay in Ireland for a while for medical care. Robert is and has been such a special part of the Lord’s heart in Ireland and our ministry there. He is dearly loved by the Irish and us all. Please keep him in your heart and prayers as his health has continued to decline, yet his heart of love for Jesus is as strong as ever.
The Sonrise team of young adults also went to Ireland this year. This group has been growing in Jesus as the Son is rising and shining through their hearts! At the beginning of the year, the Lord gathered the young adults together around a project of writing and ministering a rock opera / musical drama that shares what it means to bear in our bodies the dying of the Lord Jesus. Behind this drama is a passion to reach this generation with the Jesus who wants to live in them in the midst of the world we live in. We have shared this musical in Ireland and if the Lord wills, may share it stateside. In whatever case, our hearts cry out for the realities of which it speaks to be real in us. Please pray for this generation of young people everywhere to know the Lamb as their Life and for the Spirit to draw them in. At the end of the year (last month) the Sonrise team and myself were blessed with the joy of serving Life in the Spirit Ministries in their annual Gathering.
And just to mention some other areas, our weekly Skype prayer meetings have continued on and they are always ready to take your prayer requests! There have been more opportunities to be a part of live Bible school classes and those precious times of pressing in to know the Lord as our Life! Just a few days ago I finished a class concerning spiritual authority (some videos are included below). While I try to be faithful to share some of the details of this ministry with those who faithfully support the Lord's work, my heart also knows that it is not really the ministry details that mean anything, but the Lord Himself Who should fill it all! Without love and His Life, it would just be a lot of “Martha” busyness :) Yet, with passion towards God, we want a “Mary” heart that fills it all with love for Jesus and the sweet savor of His Life! He is all that matters, and He is all that will remain. The beautiful, wonderful, glorious Son Who is in us! Come forth, Lord Jesus!
I do want to apologize that I was unable to send out the November Newsletter last month due to the fullness of the schedule. My heart wanted to reach out and communicate with those who mean so much to me and this ministry, but my hands did not have the time. Therefore, this month I have tried to include a bit more to make up for last month. Most importantly, I want to say THANK YOU! You are His vessels who contain the living, breathing, loving Jesus! His Life in us IS the ministry and all that matters. You are so precious to me and so many and I could never fully express my heart of gratitude for you!
