Fundraising For Jesus!

ROCK-A-THON 2023
From April 1st at 9 am to April 2nd at 9 am we had teams of young people rocking in rocking chairs to help raise funds for our upcoming "You Can Be A Butterfly" Bible Club / evangelistic outreach. Their hearts were there for God and others as they got pledges, prayed for people, and poured out Jesus as they gave it their all in their rocking chairs!

Auction Fundraiser Event
Dear Jesus Lovers,
So much that is going on recently is happening gloriously through the Body of Christ coming together in His love and moving as One in His Spirit. From Fundraising to preparations for our upcoming "You Can Be a Butterfly " Bible Club and other upcoming evangelism, there is a manifest heart to flow together in Jesus and bring God glory. I was recently listening to a teaching where the preacher said, "I am not looking to get a job down, I am looking that the Father would get His Son." Amen to that! What does it all mean if it doesn't glorify God through Jesus Christ through us? The scriptures bring us great hope that we are destined to do just this - "God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you (us), the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27 RSV) I noticed that in the Greek the working is actually, "Christ in US" the hope of the glory. In other words, God gets more glory when Christ lives through us together being His Body! Hallelujah!!
I have recently been pondering a few thoughts concerning the “Presence of God” in contrast to the “Glory of God.” I was thinking about how it is possible to be in the presence of someone and never come to really know them. Lingering with a person and being moved by their presence could be just a momentary experience. Yet not just God's presence, but God’s glory was manifested when Jesus died on the Cross full of sacrificial selfless love for His enemies. At that moment we experience more than God’s presence – we behold God’s glory and find out WHO He is in His nature. Christ in US is not the hope of God's presence, but the hope of God's glory. My prayer and deep heart cry is that Christ would be manifested in His Lamb nature so that God would be glorified and others could partake of His Life in real ways, and not just have a temporary moving experience. Moves of God come and go, but Christ formed in someone in His Lamb brings eternal glory to the Father. May our hearts join together in prayer that God would be glorified through us in all that is to come.
Yours with a grateful heart,
Kelly
